Cookies and browser storage, explained
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job. On this page, the word "cookies" means all three.
What we save right now
Everything we save is a convenience setting. Nothing in the list identifies you, and nothing serves ads.
| Item | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
pkb-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you picked light or dark mode | Until you clear this site's data |
pkb-reads- | Local storage | Holds the twenty most recent reads from a tool, on this device alone | Until you clear this site's data |
pkb-parting-* | Local storage | Notes that you dismissed the broker offer, so it stays hidden for a while | Until you clear this site's data |
What we leave out
As of this version, the site uses no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking across other sites. We do not follow you around the web to build a profile.
If we ever add more
Should we add analytics, or any other cookie the site can run without, it will appear in the table above. We will ask your permission before setting it, and saying no will not stop you using the site.
Inside the signal tools
Each tool saves your recent reads, plus the pair and timeframe you picked, in this browser's local storage. They stay on this device only, and clearing the site's data wipes them. What we do receive is set out in the Privacy policy.
Other sites we link to
Telegram, WhatsApp and broker sites may set cookies of their own when you follow a link to them. Their policies apply there, and we have no control over them.
Clearing or blocking storage
Your browser settings let you delete or block cookies. Clearing this site's data removes every item in the table. The site then simply forgets your saved choices, such as your theme.
We honor Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and similar browser signals. Right now there is no tracking for them to turn off.
Updates
This page changes whenever what we save changes. The version you are reading is dated September 30, 2026. Send questions to info@pocketbots.io, and see the Privacy policy for personal data more broadly.
