Why this page exists
If you own something that appears on this site without your permission, we want to know about it. This page shows how to report it, what happens after you do, and how to respond if you believe something was taken down in error.
The process follows the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512), which most rights holders and online platforms rely on. The Privacy policy and the Terms of use also apply.
What appears on this site
We create the text, pages, charts, tool screens and product artwork ourselves, or use them with permission. Names and logos of brokers, browsers and messaging apps belong to their owners. They appear only to show which platform a tool runs with.
Visitors cannot upload anything here. So if a copyright problem turns up, we most likely published the material ourselves, and we will want to put it right fast.
How to file a notice
Email info@pocketbots.io and put Copyright notice in the subject line. The Contact page lists other ways to reach us, but email gives both of us a written record.
Include every item below. If one is missing, we may treat the notice as incomplete and ask you to send it again.
- Your full name, plus an email address and one more way to contact you.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you own, either described or linked.
- The URL of every page on this site where your work appears, so we can locate it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that neither you, your agent nor the law has authorized the use.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the right or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature. A typed full name is enough.
What happens after you send it
We review every complete notice within a few working days. When a claim appears valid, we take the material down or disable access to it, and we let the person responsible for it know.
We may pass your notice, including your name, to that person, stripping out your contact details where we can. We may also keep a copy on file.
If you believe we made a mistake
If you think material came down because of a mistake or because it was wrongly identified, send a counter-notice to the same email address. Include:
- Your full name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- What was taken down, and the address where it used to appear.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your agreement to be subject to the US federal district court covering your address, or, outside the United States, the court covering the original sender. Also agree to accept service of process from whoever filed the original notice.
- Your signature.
We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If within ten working days they do not tell us they have filed a court action, we may put the material back.
Repeat infringers
Where a service we run is covered by a repeat-infringer policy, anyone shown on more than one occasion to have infringed others' rights will have their account closed and their access blocked.
False claims
Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents facts in a notice or counter-notice is liable for the resulting costs and damages. Send a notice only when you are certain of your rights, and get legal advice first if you are not.
Complaints that are not about copyright
Only copyright matters belong here. Trademark questions, privacy requests and tool problems go to info@pocketbots.io. How we use other companies' names and logos is covered in our Disclaimer.
