Where this warning applies
Read this page alongside the Disclaimer, the Privacy policy and the Terms of use. It covers all of PocketBots: the website, both signal tools and every support conversation. When you use any of them, you confirm that you have read this warning and agree to it.
One trade, two outcomes, and one costs the full stake
A binary option settles one of two ways. Call the direction right and the broker adds the quoted payout to your stake. Call it wrong and the entire stake is lost.
A payout is always less than 100%, so winning half your trades is not enough. Take a $10 stake at an 80% payout. Over ten trades, five wins earn $40 and five losses cost $50, so you finish $10 down. To break even at 80%, you need to win 1 ÷ 1.80 of your trades, about 55.6%. At a 90% payout that line sits near 52.6% (1 ÷ 1.90). At 75% it climbs to about 57.1% (1 ÷ 1.75).
Payouts vary by pair and by hour. Look at the figure your broker shows before each session.
Treat a signal as an estimate
Each read gives a direction, CALL or PUT, or tells you to sit out, along with an expiry. It is an estimate drawn from the chart, and some reads will miss. Several misses in a row happen to every tool and do not mean it has failed.
Weigh a signal as one part of your own decision. Prices keep moving after a read appears, so a read that fit the chart at 14:30:02 may no longer fit it at 14:30:07. How fast you enter counts.
Every trade is placed by you
The tools read the chart and stop there. They never open, size or close a trade, so each stake and each expiry is your call.
- A stake that is too big can drain an account in a handful of trades, within minutes.
- A laggy connection, or a refresh on the broker's page, can put you into a trade later than you meant.
- Only you know your budget, your bills and how you feel today. A signal knows none of that.
- Fix your stake first, then look at which way the read points.
OTC prices are a separate market
OTC pairs keep trading while exchanges are shut, overnight and through the weekend. The broker usually sets those prices itself instead of taking them from an open exchange. As a result, an OTC pair can behave differently from the live pair with the same name.
We have no way to see how a broker builds its OTC quotes. Judge OTC results on their own terms, and size your stakes with that in mind.
Old results do not forecast new ones
Every figure on this site, whether a win rate, a screenshot, a demo or a chart, records something that already happened. Conditions shift, and a tool that held up well one month may struggle the next.
We present old figures as a record and nothing more. No one at PocketBots, or acting for us, can promise you a profit, a win rate or any particular outcome.
Your broker holds your money
PocketBots never holds, receives or transfers your funds. Every deposit, withdrawal and trade takes place on your broker's platform, under that broker's rules.
Regulation, payout terms and policies on automation vary from one broker to the next, and some brokers forbid automated trading outright. In some countries, binary options are also restricted or banned for retail traders. Check both points before you place a trade.
A partner broker may pay us
Some brokers named on this site are our partners. When you open an account through our link, that partner may pay us a fee. Those fees fund free access, and they also give us a reason to favor partners.
A partnership has no effect on what a tool reads. Even so, compare brokers on your own. Our Disclaimer sets out how partner relationships work.
When you should not trade at all
Stay away from binary options if even one of these applies to you:
- You are younger than 18, or younger than the legal age of adulthood in your country.
- The money is meant for rent, food, bills or paying off debt.
- You would take out a loan to fund the account or to chase back a loss.
- The law where you live does not allow you to trade binary options.
- You are counting on trading to replace a regular income.
Ways to keep losses small
- Try the platform on a demo account first, before any real money is involved.
- Put only a small, fixed slice of your balance on any single trade. Never raise it to recover a loss.
- Choose a loss limit for each day, and stop once you hit it.
- After a run of losses, take a break rather than betting more.
- Log every trade, so you judge a tool by its numbers and not by what you remember.
When trading starts to feel out of control
Trading can turn into a compulsion. Warning signs include trading more than you intended, keeping losses secret, or feeling on edge when you are away from the chart. If you notice them, stop and speak with someone you trust. Our support team can switch off your tool access on request, and will never pressure you to keep going.
